Some notes:
The large river, in Latin Padus, is the longest Italian river, with a length of about 403 M, a water flow rate of 1,540 m3/sec maximum and 270 m3/sec minimum, serving a water catchment area of 71,000 km2.
Its source is on Monviso in Pian del Re (CN) at about 6626 ft above sea level. and flows into the Adriatic Sea at the north of Ravenna and at the south of Chioggia (VE).
Its course flows through the regions of Piedmont, Lombardy, Emilia Romagna and Veneto.
