This special is dedicated to people who love the nature in all its aspects even the simplest ones.
Just near the frantic city life we can enjoy the colors announcing the winter reflected into the waters of the stream Stirone.
For long stretches covered with a green arbor, dazzled by short open spots peeping over the countryside, we can observe how the nature works its miracles.
Here you can walk or go cycling or ride.

Spanning the provinces of Parma e Piacenza and involving several towns, it stretches for about 14 km from Fidenza to the ancient village of Vigoleno.
Founded in 2011 (L.R. 24/2011) thanks to the joining of the Parco Regionale Fluviale dello Stirone and the Riserva Naturale Geologica del Piacenziano.
The Park is extremely important under the paleontological point of view, due to the presence of remarkable fossil finds of the Tertiary and Quaternary era, dig up by the erosive process that made it to be renowned worldwide among the scientists.
It shelters various species of wildlife: walking in silence you could catch sight of hares, hedgehogs, and, with a bit of luck, badgers, foxes, beech martens and many birds.

the stretch from Fidenza to San Nicomede closes from May to August to allow the nesting of the bee-eater.
