About 13 years have passed since our publication about the 1000-mile race that passed through the streets of the town. Despite the passing of the years, the event has lost none of its fascination.

Two historical notes:
Speed race from Brescia to Rome, held from 1927 to 1957, when it was suspended due to a serious accident that killed two drivers and nine spectators. The race was revived and held annually since 1987, not as a speed race but as a regularity race.
