After visiting Palazzo Corbellini (see part 1), we continue by visiting the basement of the Pallavicino Rest Home and, finally, Palazzo Trabucchi.

Always accompanied by the evocative playing of French Iaschi and Claudia Borlenghi.

We conclude with a thank you to Alessandra, not only for the initiative, but also for the comprehensive explanations of what we visited.

A bit of history:
It's not easy to describe the history of both the two buildings and the basement of the nursing home, as little is known about them, so we'll just provide a few brief notes.

Basements of the Casa di Riposo
The entire complex probably dates back to the early 15th century, apparently commissioned by the Pallavicino marquises and built by the Jesuits.

The history of the complex, of which the underground is a part, is parallel to the history of the adjacent church of Sant'Ignazio di Loyola.

Corbellini palace
It's a historic residence dating back to the mid-18th century. It's intertwined with the history of Giuseppe Verdi.

Trabucchi palace
Very little information is available, only the period of its construction which, like the previous one, dates back to the 18th century.
One detail: it seems that before Trabucchi it was called Palazzo Linati.
