We visited the Ecomuseo delle valli Oglio Chiese (once Museo della Civiltà contadina ed artigiana) which let us understand the agriculture and the peasants who over the centuries altered this country placed among the rivers Oglio, Chiese and Po: this museum by itself is worth a visit...>>

<<This is a country world renowned for its flavours and specialties as, for example, the “isolini” cookies, the “tortelli di zucca” and the “riboso” wine.
These flavors can be tasted at an historic cafè restaurant and at a prestigious hotel…
...The village is also rich in events as the “Palio delle Contrade” on the 2nd weekend of September, a historical re-enactment in medieval costumes…
... at the end I’d like to thank again the major Giampaolo for his kind present, the book “le erbe commestibili” (“the edible grasses”) where I found excellent natural recipes...>>

We’d like to cite the two structures mentioned by Erika:

• The Restaurant Caffè La Crepa placed into the majestic Palazzo della Guardia (XV century) where you can taste the local specialties and in its grocery shop you could also buy the typical “Giardiniera” together with many other products.
• The Restaurant Hotel Palazzo Quaranta dates back to ‘700 and was finely restored during 3 years of works (2006-2009).
  Now it is a suggestive location with frescoed rooms and the charm of history, which has nothing on historic hotels of famous cities.
