Oltretorrente [beyond the stream]-(part 1 of 2)

Rispetto al torrente che la divide, la parte monumentale più conosciuta della città si trova ad est.
Se poi si attraversa la Parma si può visitare il Parco Ducale e la vivacissima e suggestiva parte della città chiamata "Oltretorrente".
A questa zona vogliamo dedicare due speciali per mostrare, almeno in parte, alcuni dei punti più interessanti e caratteristici.
Il breve percorso fatto parte dal ponte G. Verdi, prosegue per via Farnese (una piccola deviazione per visitare la casa natale di Arturo Toscanini) e poi , all’altezza del ponte di Mezzo, imboccare via Massimo D’Azeglio, percorrendola quasi completamente sino alla biblioteca Paolotti.
Un consiglio: assolutamente visitare la chiesa parrocchiale della Santissima Annunziata e, se aperto, l’oratorio di sant’Ilario.
