Un po' di storia:
Per un po’ di storia del carnevale citiamo solo quando è nato in quanto su internet si trovano innumerevoli notizie sulla manifestazione e sulla città.
Di origine antichissima, la prima testimonianza documentale risale al 1094 grazie ad uno scritto del Doge Vitale Falier.
Non ha 1000 anni, ma ci siamo vicini.
La manifestazione, interrotta per diversi anni, è stata ripresa solo alcuni decenni fa.

While sorting through some very old slides, I found some images of walks through the Venetian streets.
The latest images show one of the most iconic and celebrated celebrations in the lagoon city: the Carnival

A bit of history:
For a bit of history of the carnival, we will only mention when it began, as there is countless information about the event and the city on the internet.
Of very ancient origins, the first documentary evidence dates back to 1094 thanks to a writing by the Doge Vitale Falier.
It's not 1000 years old, but we're close.
The event, interrupted for several years, was resumed only a few decades ago.
