  • Terenzo [ph. 1-4]
At the foot of the Monte Croce, important road junction in the Middle Ages and strategical point of the Via Romea, with the ancient parish od Santo Stefano, mentioned since 1141.
  • Corniana [ph. 5-11]
Tiny hamlet at the foot of the Monte Zirone, with the parish of San Michele Arcangelo (13th century) one of the oldest of the Parma territory
  • Cassio [ph. 16-24]
It deserves a stop for the medieval town planning.
In the seventeenth-century church of the Assunta, there are valuable fifteenth-century frescoes representing St. John the Baptist and St. Benedict.
Of special interest are the Museo Civiltà Contadina (Ozzano Taro), the church of San Prospero (11th century) and Villa Nevicati (early ‘800).
At a short distance from the village there are the arenaceous outcrops of the Monte Cassio [ph. 25-26], which are the western end of the Salti del Diavolo (Devil’s Jumps), rocky peaks and ridges stretching out for about 3.3 ml.
    Corchia [ph. 27-30]
    See the previous special.

We end this short tour, to be continued another time, with an invitation: if you are a nature and history lover come here and you will live an unforgettable experience
